At Arch Customs, we believe a quality cutting board or charcuterie board should be more than something you use—it should be something you can keep, use, and pass down for generations.

That’s why every Arch Customs cutting board and charcuterie board is backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

We stand behind our craftsmanship and warrant our boards against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner, provided the board has been properly cared for and maintained according to our care instructions.

What’s Covered

This warranty covers defects resulting from our craftsmanship or materials, including:

  • Structural failures caused by defects in construction
  • Glue-joint failures resulting from workmanship
  • Other manufacturing or craftsmanship defects determined by Arch Customs

If a covered defect occurs, Arch Customs will, at our discretion, repair or replace the board. If repair or replacement is not reasonably possible, we may offer another appropriate remedy.

What’s NOT Covered

Because wood is a natural material, normal changes in appearance and movement are not considered defects. This includes:

  • Normal wear and tear from use
  • Scratches, knife marks, dents, or stains
  • Natural changes in color or grain
  • Minor movement or seasonal changes in the wood
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care
  • Damage caused by excessive heat
  • Damage caused by dropping or impact
  • Damage caused by leaving the board wet or improperly stored

The following will immediately void this warranty:

  • ❌ Putting the board in a dishwasher
  • ❌ Soaking or submerging the board in water
  • ❌ Leaving the board sitting in water or excessive moisture
  • ❌ Using harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners
  • ❌ Using the board as a hot pad or placing hot cookware directly on it
  • ❌ Failure to properly maintain and condition the board according to Arch Customs care instructions
  • ❌ Any modification, alteration, or repair performed by someone other than Arch Customs

Proper Care Is Required

To maintain your warranty, the board must be cleaned and maintained according to the Arch Customs Cutting Board & Charcuterie Board Care Guide.

Proper care includes hand washing with mild dish soap and water, drying the board promptly and thoroughly, never soaking or submerging the board, and regularly applying an appropriate food-safe board conditioner such as Arch Customs Board Butter as needed.

Your board is made from real wood. Treat it well, and it can last for generations.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your board has developed a covered defect, please contact Arch Customs with your order information and photos of the issue. We will evaluate the board and determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise approved by Arch Customs.
